AngelCare, Inc. Home Health Care, founded on September 6, 2000, was the brain child of our owner, Joyce Sikora Lovse.
Joyce's vision, fueled by her personal passion for elder home care, was to create a company that would foster a community of caring between its clients, family members, care providers, nurses, administrative team members and health professionals.
Since this time, the AngelCare Team has grown from three founding members to a staff of over 150.
At AngelCare, we know that finding care for an family member is a difficult decision. We want you to feel confident when choosing AngelCare to meet your loved one's home health care needs. Our extensive experience and commitment to providing quality service at an affordable price sets us apart from other home care agencies. You can count on us day and night to provide your loved one with consistent and effective care--our satisfied clients agree. Here is one of the many compliments we have received.
"As a Case Manager, I have had an opportunity to work with AngelCare on a consistent basis. The agency (Office personnel) have been friendly and treated me with courtesy and respect. Clients are treated as individuals and AngelCare always goes the extra mile, above and beyond what is expected. I will continue to do business with this caring agency."

In addition to the countless testimonials we've received from our clients, AngelCare's owner has also been honored with the Top Woman Owned Business Award. This prestigious award provides recognition to West Michigan’s women-owned businesses that add strength and diversity to the local economy.
“The key to the company’s growth and success is a total team effort; I have only been the catalyst. The combined efforts of our field and administrative staff provide professional, consistent and reliable home care. The success of our daily efforts has earned us an excellent reputation in the home health care community and home health care in Michigan. Today, AngelCare not only serves the greater Grand Rapids area, but most of West Michigan.”
In 2001, Joyce founded the Consortium on Quality Care of West Michigan, an organization that advocated for ethical, quality care for seniors, and that honored caregivers with an annual awards banquet and training events. In 2006 the CQC was disbanded, but not without donating almost $700.00 to the Kent County Senior Millage campaign, a ballot that happily passed in August ’06 by a 77% margin.
